Old North Basketball uses the power of sports to teach youth the game of basketball and share the gospel and promote the discovery of Jesus. We aim for athletes to be active, make championship choices on and off the court, and build confidence in what they can accomplish through basketball. Our program teaches faith, integrity, quality, and teamwork. We believe basketball provides practice for life, whether experienced by participation or observation. Old North Basketball aims to provide a genuine opportunity to honor and give glory to God.

Our league begins January 5th, which is the first week of practices. Practices are once a week for one hour on Mondays or Thursdays depending on your assigned practice time that is made before the start of the season. January 17th is our first day of games. Games are on Saturdays for six weeks. Games start at 10AM and the last game starts at 3PM. Your team will play one 40-minute game per week. The last game of the season is on February 21st.
We have three divisions for our league and they are as follows:
Kindergarten Division (REGISTRATION CLOSED)
1st & 2nd Grade Division (REGISTRATION CLOSED)
3rd & 4th Grade Division (REGISTRATION CLOSED)
We do not allow players to move up or down divisions to accommodate being with other players or siblings or more experienced play.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Information
Practices are once per week for one hour on Mondays or Thursdays depending on your coach's practice day and time. Practices times are 5PM, 6PM, or 7PM. Please plan on being available on those dates for practice.
Player and coach requests are not guaranteed. We try our best to accommodate requests but cannot always guarantee your child will be paired with the request made. Please make any requests you have below.

- I authorize the staff and volunteers of Old North Church (ONC) to seek emergency medical attention for my child if needed, with the understanding that every effort will be made to contact me as soon as possible. If I cannot be reached, I consent to any immediate and necessary medical treatment — including, but not limited to, injection, anesthesia, or surgery — as deemed advisable by a licensed medical professional. I understand that ONC and its representatives will not be held liable for any accident or injury in connection with such emergency care.
- I understand and agree that ONC will take reasonable precautions to ensure a safe environment, but that participation in Kids Ministry events for the 2025–2026 church year involves inherent risks. I release and hold harmless ONC, its staff, and volunteers from any liability for injuries sustained in connection with these events.
- I give permission for my child’s image to be photographed or recorded during ONC activities and used — without personal identification — in ONC publications, promotional materials, social media, and on the church website. I understand that these images may be used without further notice or compensation.
- I understand the class offerings, age guidelines, and associated program fees, and that payment must be received before materials are provided and participation is confirmed.
